I've been thinking of making an escort card display like this one. Any thoughts?

Love the idea!
Very fun! My only concern would be if you are having and outdoor wedding and it was really windy. Maybe consider tying the ends down so that if it is windy they aren't blowing around all over the place and getting tangled. Sorry, I couldn't tell from the picture if they were anchored down or not! Good luck!
I love this idea - how would you stick your cards to the ribbon? I love when I see cards clipped on with a clothespin!
So cute! I'm with LauraAnn, I would tie something heavy to the ends to keep them in a straight line - maybe large crystals (from jamali garden or cristalier) or a mini-bucket or vase with stones and flowers in it?
They might look more uniform and straight if you hung them horizontally instead....? You can use blue-dot 'tape' to adhere them to the ribbon.
