I've been trying to think of something to use as a card box for awhile now. I don't want to make a box that looks like a cake, or buy a wooden card box that I won't really have a use for after the wedding. I'm thinking some kind of a vase or basket for the cards would be fine. Today while browsing the sale items at CB2, I found this green side table.

Turn it upside down, tie a big purple or teal satin bow around it, and I think it has potential to hold the cards. And the best part? After the wedding we can use it for its original purpose.
